Mary Baker Eddy (1821-1910) was an influential American author, teacher,
and religious leader, noted for her groundbreaking ideas about spirituality and health, which she named Christian Science.
In 1908, she founded the Christian Science Montior. It is neither
about Chritianity nor Science.
Everything in the Monitor is international and US news and features,
except for one religious article that has appeared each day in The Home Forum section since 1908, at the request of the paper's
founder, Mary Baker Eddy. It is the recipient of seven Pulitzer Prizes.
